The magazine for November has now been published and copies await collection in St Paul’s.  I hope that you find plenty of interest in this month’s issue.

Special items include:

Details of the use of our two churches by our Methodist friends

Information about David’s Quiet Morning – learning too pray with St Francis

Invitations to the Christmas Fair, Christmas Tree Festival and lighting of the Grange Christmas tree

An article from Joyce about the Prisoners’ Education Trust

A report of a visit to the Museum of the Moon exhibition in Carlisle

An inspirational story from Anita

And an amusing correspondence about a mis-typed date!

Enjoy!  Feedback – good or bad – always welcome!

Another month gone by, and so another issue of our magazine!

We hope that you will enjoy the various items that appear this time – as well as all the usual details of services, etc.

  • A ‘thank you’ for financial contributions, and an invitation to review our giving as we celebrate Harvest and all the gifts we receive
  • Notice about the new arrangements as we welcome our Methodist friends who will be joining us at St Paul’s and at the Fell Church while their building work is ongoing
  • An article about the Co-workers of Mother Teresa and an invitation to join the small ecumenical group who meet monthly for prayer and meditation
  • Report on the situation with the church heating
  • Extract from PEAT’s latest newsletter for our Ecochurch page
  • A photograph of our new bug house with its ‘decorators’
  • A new photograph that has emerged of St Paul’s showing its original entrance and before the clock tower was built

Happy reading!
