Parish Magazine for May
This month’s magazine is now ready for you to download and read or to collect your hard copy from St Paul’s!
Interesting items include reports on our Easter services and dates for your diary this month. Perhaps one of the most exciting is news of our gaining a Bronze Award from A Rocha UK so that we can now claim to be an Eco Church.
We have invitations to the Fell Church on the 7th for their concert celebrating ‘The merrie month of May’, to an Open Garden to the home of Sue and Peter Nicol at Canny Hill on the 10th , and to our Spring Fair on the 17th. Notice appears also for ‘The Armed Man’ to be presented by Ulverston Choral Society in the Parish Church at Ulverston on the 16th.
There are letters from the Revd Ian Coomber and from Anne Peat, and the usual interesting statistics from Andrew Little on rainfall – by far the lowest in March for the last 8 years!
Enjoy your reading – please note that Christian Aid Week falls this month – 11-17th. With your support, we can fund vital training, so communities can fight the effects of the climate crisis. Envelopes will be available in church.,
