New boilers at St Paul’s

We have new boilers!  The 23-year-old gas central heating boilers were becoming unreliable with concerns about the availability of spare parts and so were replaced by Oncore Specialist Heating Ltd of Windermere between 17^th February and 6^th March  2025.  The total cost amounted to £31,036, but we received a generous grant of £1,750 from the Benefact Trust of Brockworth, Gloucester, thus reducing the amount to £29,286 which was then further offset by £2,519 through generous donations from parishioners and the local community.

The new boilers are reliable, more efficient and with maintenance costs very likely to be lower.  They enable services and events to continue in St Paul’s which may not have  been the case if the old unreliable boilers had been left in place.
