Parish Magazine for May

Pleased to bring you the May issue of our Magazine!

All the usual items are ‘in’, and the Ecochurch report includes the results of the Big Plastic Count in March.  It is quite alarming to see the amount of plastic that we use in our daily lives – 82 billion pieces of plastic packaging are thrown away every year.

Of particular interest this month include a report by Prudence about her attendance at the enthronement of the new Archbishop (page 8-9), and information about Agnes, the ‘Kendal woman’ discovered during the excavation works for the flood defence works in Kendal.

And among the dates for your diaries, please note our Spring Fair on Saturday, 23rd May.
