A Bittersweet Occasion
Celebrating the patronal Festival in St Paul’s
This year was a bitter sweet occasion when we came together after the main service to celebrate the Conversion of St Paul with a parish lunch, but also to say ‘Goodbye’ to Linda Brown who has served faithfully as our Parish Administrator for the past 15 years. She and her husband Paul joined us for lunch, and Linda was presented with flowers and a retirement gift. Special tributes were paid to Linda by David and by Brian, Churchwarden. She will be missed.
As always, the lunch was superb – steak pie supplied by Higginson’s, and an amazing selection of sweets. The very generous and talented cooks in the congregation never fail to amaze us.
